A river tubing tour on river rapids offers an exciting and adventurous experience as you navigate the currents of a river on an inflatable tube. Here’s what you can typically expect from a river rapid tubing tour:

Waterfall Explorer Hike:
Explore an oasis filled with natural pools and small waterfalls before heading downstream.
Lagoon area with Jump Off:
A natural blue hole and a spot to swim and jump into the river.
Private Beach:
All river tours end at a private beach for some relaxation time and a swim in the Caribbean Sea.

1. Equipment: You will be provided with all the necessary equipment, including an inflatable tube, a life jacket, a helmet, and sometimes water shoes. These items are designed to ensure your safety during the adventure.

2. Safety Briefing: Before you begin the tour, a knowledgeable guide will typically provide a safety briefing. This briefing will cover important information about how to use the tube, safety procedures, and what to do in case of emergencies.

3. River Entry: You’ll usually start the tour by entering the river at a designated point. The entry point can vary depending on the tour route and location.

4. Tubing Downriver: Once in the water, you’ll float down the river on your inflatable tube. Depending on the river’s characteristics, you may encounter a mix of calm sections and thrilling rapids.

5. Rapids: River tubing tours often include sections with varying levels of rapids. Rapids are areas of fast-flowing water with turbulence and waves, adding excitement to the tubing experience. Guides will instruct you on how to navigate through the rapids safely.

6. Scenic Surroundings: As you tube down the river, you’ll have the opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the surrounding environment, which may include lush vegetation, forests, and wildlife.

7. Guide Assistance: Knowledgeable guides typically accompany the tour, both for safety and to enhance your experience. They may offer insights into the local ecology, geology, and history of the area.

Tour cancellation policy

It is always our pleasure to serve you and provide you with only the best that Jamaica has to offer. As a result, our services are in high demand. Please note our “No Call, No Show Policy” below:

If you are not present in the lobby for your pick up and have not contacted the driver (or any other affiliates of the company) about your delay, you are provided with a 15 minutes grace period. Once the 15 minutes have expired, your booking will be cancelled. Your booking is non refundable once you have exceeded your grace period. You may opt to reschedule your booking, however, this will be at an additional cost. This additional cost is determined based on the location of your hotel. Please feel free to contact us to gain further clarity on this policy.

For tours (private and small group), cancellations made at least 72 hours prior to the tour date are eligible for a 100% refund or future travel credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the tour date are eligible for a 50% refund. All sales are final within 24 hours of the tour date thus tickets and reservation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. In the event that you would like a tour to be rescheduled, this will need to be made within 48 hours before the original scheduled tour date.

Please note if you are not staying in Montego Bay, you will be required to pay an additional fee for transportation. We do not do complimentary pick-up outside of Montego Bay. The following hotels are not in Montego Bay: Royalton Blue Waters, Royalton White Sands, Excellence Oyster Bay, Ocean Coral Spring, Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica, Grand Palladium, etc.
